This is a horrible VHS copy that has been transferred to DVD. Dreadful copy - could not watch. There is a better release in the US titled "The Grand Duel" which is in fact closer too the films original title "Il grande duello".
A girl who thinks is not good at doing anything has to stay for the holidays with her grandmother at a riding stable. Spaghettti western meets the hippies. Watch it but use fast forward to get a taste. Colour a bit poor.

After watching it (and loving the film) I bought the Blue Underground version packaged as Grand Duel- it's NTSC but it's actually region free so plays fine in the UK.
This was obviously a great western movie in it's ORIGINAL cinema version. With Kevin Sorbo, Kristy Swanson, Danielle C. Ryan, Jacob Buster.

But everything changes when Carrie meets Flicka, a wild, ... The curiously named, Moondance Alexander is a spirited teen living with her eccentric mother. The plot was absurd. There was a little mystery to it but the reveal was as cheap and not interesting as you get. They don't make cowboys like this anymore - it really is the Wild, Wild West.
Not a fan of these spaghetti westerns but when the audio is 2 seconds behind the video it makes me think I am watching a Chinese kung Fu movie. RJC.

The quality of this earlier print, sold as Storm Rider, is terrible; think VHS quality! Is it the same film once called 'The Big Gundown' ? The other main character is just ridiculous.
Film quality is reflected in it's age but you won't find many better Western movies with Lee Van Cleef. Watch Free on IMDb TV Insecure at times, as they should be in a real life situation. Superb film with beautiful music. Fan of van cleef this one stinks Watch Storm Rider directed by Craig Clyde.
