While you could never describe it as a gourmet experience, the food is authentic 'rustic' French, the setting on the shaded1st floor terrace overlooking the River Lot is very pleasant, and...Delicious authentic and simple food. The service though is slow. Pleasant enough but lacking the character it had with previous owners. Great location, adjacent to the river and - at least from outside- good view of a fast flowing weir. The patron has a very brusque manner and is, at first, quite scary.
